ABOUT MINDY
Mindy is a 2023 graduate of Malone University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and 2017 graduate of Kent State University at Stark with a Bachelor’s in Criminology. She has combined her love of learning about others with her desire to pursue a career in private practice counseling. She has also trusted her gut, taken leaps of faith, and made meaningful connections with mentors and other mental health professionals to make this happen.

PHILOSOPHY
Mindy believes that having a sense of humor is imperative to conquering challenges in life and very important in the counseling relationship. She has learned to laugh at herself, her quirks, misfortunes, heartbreaks, the way her face looks when she cries, and the fact that everyone makes fun of how loud her laugh is. That’s funny too.
Mindy offers individual counseling services in the form of in-person or Telehealth therapy. Mindy can also schedule a consultation prior to scheduling to see if you are a good match for one another; otherwise referred to as “interviews” by Mindy (she is the one interviewing to be your counselor. You can choose to not give her the job).

“I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine. It’s important to laugh even when times get tough (or just plain shitty).”
